Why Your Wedding Website Isn’t Working
You can spend tons of money to customize your website and still not get any noticeable results as long as these issues exist in your site and marketing strategy.
Your Gallery Isn’t Selling the Experience
If you think adding lots of beautiful images to your gallery will do the trick, think again. Some random images don’t tell anything. You’ve to show the whole story by putting the ceremony, reception, details, people, atmosphere, and small moments together.
Your Website Doesn’t Address Couple Concerns
Your web design and content should provide all the information couples expect instantly, including who you are, whether you're available, where you work, what you specialize in, what you charge, and how to get in touch with you.
Your Portfolio Isn’t Convincing Enough
Make sure people know what wedding service you specialize in as soon as they check your portfolio. Since couples see hundreds of photographers, planners, and florists that all look identical, you really have to differentiate yourself.
You Don’t Have a Detailed Pricing Plan
Since budget plays a crucial role in every wedding, you don't want to keep your prospects guessing. If you can't share an exact price, at least provide an estimation. Otherwise, many couples won't bother to contact you just to find out your rates.
You’ve Not Optimized Your Site for Local Search
You’re an independent business owner serving a specific area. Your SEO strategy should target that location. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs still think they’ll effectively beat their competition with just a generic service page.
You’re Relying Too Much on Wedding Directories
Directories do work, but they’re expensive. You shouldn’t be paying someone else forever for clients that could have found you directly. Consider them as one of your lead-generation tools, not the main and only one.
You’re Not Making the Most of Your Inquiry Form
The worst idea is to collect just names and dates and then dump them in a common inbox. You can collect more useful details, like the venue, guest count, service, budget range, and wedding type, and then send the right follow-up based on the answers.
Your Testimonials Are Hard to Believe
Reviews and testimonials are powerful. But you should always ask your happy clients to add specific details to their feedback to make it more credible. Not just words like “highly recommended” or “amazing team”, but the venue, wedding size, season, or your specialty.
Your Site Isn’t Building Vendor Partnerships
You need a dedicated vendor team page to feature your partner planners, photographers, florists, venues, and other professionals. This will allow you to link to each other’s websites and help make your SEO more fruitful.

Wedding Photographer Website
You’ve to show your work, style, and personality to stand out in this niche. Our design approach includes placing your best images in front of the visitor’s eyes, reflecting your signature style in your galleries, featuring complete real weddings, making your plans easier to understand, and simplifying the whole user journey.

Wedding Venue Website
Here, your goal is to prove you’re the real deal before a couple decides to physically visit you. From Pixxen, you can expect features like detailed 360-degree virtual tours, capacity charts, preferred vendor lists, easy-to-compare venue details, and date-check tools to help check the availability of your venue.

Wedding Planner Website
The main concern is to explain exactly what kind of planning they can get from you. That's why we separate full planning, partial planning, and day-of coordination the simplest way possible. We also display real weddings elegantly along with how you planned different events. If necessary, your trusted vendor relationships are highlighted.

Wedding Florist Website
We show how your work changes with the season and venue with bouquet breakdowns, ceremony installations, tablescapes, flower recipes, color palettes, and real wedding examples. Your creativity and expertise get the main focus in our design strategy. Then comes making it easy for your prospects to share their inspirations on the website.

Wedding Videographer Website
Your portfolio is your strongest point, so make good use of it. We showcase the full range of work; i.e., wedding films alongside shorter highlight reels. Aside from that, we explain your filming approach in detail, and break down how you edit and tell a wedding story from start to finish professionally.

Wedding DJ and band website
Music is all about finding the right fit and knowing what to expect on the wedding day. With your website, you can show playlist examples, performance reels, package options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and extras like uplighting and dance floors. Many clients also ask us to include an MC sample so couples can hear their voice in advance.

Wedding Officiant Website
What kind of ceremony can you create for your clients? That’s what we prioritize. From this package, you get sample ceremony pages for religious, non-religious, interfaith, elopement, and vow renewal ceremonies. If requested, we can also add a sample reading library and a state-specific marriage license guide.

Wedding Cake Designer Website
Cake decisions usually come down to design, flavor, and size. Your galleries are designed by style, your flavor options and seasonal availability are displayed, and serving-size calculators are added so couples can have some initial idea about what you can offer before making any final deals.

Solo or boutique wedding vendor looking for a real branded website without a monthly retainer? Pixxen is a good fit.
Brand-new vendor with no portfolio and little to no budget? Start with a featured listing on The Knot for 6-12 months while you build up real work to showcase.
Established multi-vendor studio doing $1M+ with a healthy PPC budget? You’ll need a full-service agency rather than us.
And you don’t have to choose one or the other. Many vendors keep their directory listings while building their website with us.

What This Plan Doesn’t Include
Every feature is built to increase booked inquiries, not to decorate your website.
Quick Ranking
Wedding keywords in major markets are sometimes very competitive. We’ll build your site keeping your services and locations in mind, but we’re not going to promise you’ll hit page 1 within a week or so.
A Guaranteed Number of Bookings
We’ll optimize your site for conversion while making the booking flow easier. But how many weddings are booked will still depend on other factors like your market conditions, pricing, availability, and demand.
More Reviews & Awards
Yes, we can make your website look credible, but we won’t make up reviews, awards, features, or credentials. They will come from the quality of your work and the reputation you’ll build in your service areas.
Fixing the Limitations of 3rd Party Software
No need to worry when it’s about connecting your site to your preferred CRM, inquiry form, scheduling tool, or booking platform, but we can’t change its features. If your system doesn’t support certain features by default, we can’t add them to the platform itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly do I get for the $999 wedding website design package?
Pretty much everything you need to launch, including your logo, branding, wedding vendor website, SEO content, on-page SEO setup, Google Business Profile optimization, and 30 days of post-launch support. You can rest assured there are no hidden fees.
Can you help get me rank for certain buying-pattern keywords?
We won’t promise that because that’ll depend on how competitive your market is. Instead, we can do keyword research for more specific searches where you have a real opportunity to rank, such as venue, neighborhood, and niche wedding searches.
Will my HoneyBook, Dubsado, or 17hats account work with the new site?
Yes. We can connect your website to all three. Your inquiry forms can send information directly into your CRM, including things like the wedding date, budget, venue, style, and referral source. Depending on the platform, we’ll use an API connection or native form embed.
Can you add the galleries I’m already using?
Yes, we can embed your existing galleries directly into the site, including password-protected client galleries. For your public portfolio, we handle things a little differently; i.e., we optimize those images for speed and search for better results.
I already have a Squarespace or ShowIt site. Do I have to start over?
Not really. We can handle the migration, including DNS, redirects, and the technical setup. Your current site can stay live while the new one is being built. And if you’re happy with ShowIt, we can build there instead of making you switch platforms.
What about SEO and content after the site goes live?
You can add it if you want, but there’s no required retainer. We offer real wedding feature pages for $150-300 each, along with quarterly SEO check-ins. You’ll need them because they can bring in long-tail searches while showing potential clients your previous deliveries.
Should I cancel my The Knot or WeddingWire listing once my new site is live?
We wouldn’t do it immediately. Keep your listings running for the first 3–6 months and track where your inquiries are coming from. Once your own site starts bringing in enough organic leads, you can then decide whether those listings are still worth paying for.
What if I shoot weddings in several cities or destinations?
That’s something Pixxen can build into the site. We can create pages for your primary and secondary markets, along with destination-specific content, travel information, and venue pages. FYI, the first three destination pages are included in the package and additional destination pages are $99 each.
What happens once the 30 days of support are over?
Nothing changes with your ownership since you own the site, domain, content, and hosting. You’re also free to edit it yourself or move to another provider. If you want us to keep managing things, ongoing support is $99/month with a 24-hour response SLA.
Why not just buy a wedding website template?
Yes, you can; especially if most of your leads come through referrals and you mainly need a good-looking website. Templates are cheaper and can work well for that. However, our package is for vendors who want something built around their brand, services, and SEO from the start so the site can help bring in couples who aren’t already familiar with their business.
